ABOUT YOGA INCLUSIVE
I've practised yoga for a long time... attending classes in church halls, and shop floors after closing time - when yoga was just starting to hit the mainstream in my area. My hyper-mobile body appreciating the stretch and strengthening.
But it wasn't until I experienced the worst two years of my life that I really discovered its power.
Grief, anxiety, depression and redundancy left me unrecognisable to myself. Slowly but surely I tried all kinds of things to heal myself - returning to yoga at my local gym. The methodical movement, the soothing breath practices and the opportunity to relax and release fuelled my healing process in such a way that I knew I had to learn how to share this with others.
Fringe Yoga appealed to me as the method is so accessible. Right from the off I've wanted Yoga to be for ALL. I wanted these healing mind and soul benefits to reach as many people as possible, and begin to work into the bodies and lives of whomever needed it - regardless of physicality, gender, age, race or personal circumstance.
I've found my peace, and re-establish it continually in yoga. From the poses, to the meditations, the music, the words of wisdom and of course the wonderful people it brings into my life.
